1Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the Drive Hatch Logistics driver portal ("Portal"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use the Portal.
2Definitions
- "Company" refers to Drive Hatch Logistics Ltd, registered in England and Wales (Company No: 16629551)
- "Driver" refers to any individual registered to use the Portal
- "Portal" refers to the driver management platform and all associated services
- "Services" refers to delivery and logistics services coordinated through the Company
3Driver Registration
To use the Portal, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Hold a valid UK driving license appropriate for your vehicle class
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
4Driver Obligations
As a registered driver, you agree to:
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Maintain appropriate vehicle insurance and documentation
- Provide accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Treat customers and colleagues with respect and professionalism
- Report any incidents, accidents, or issues promptly
- Keep your personal information up to date
5Payment Terms
- Invoices are generated based on completed deliveries and agreed rates
- Payment is processed according to the agreed payment schedule
- You are responsible for providing accurate bank details
- Self-billing invoices are issued by the Company on your behalf
- You are responsible for your own tax obligations including self-assessment
- Any disputes regarding payments must be raised within 14 days of invoice date
6Time Off Requests
Time off requests must be submitted through the Portal and are subject to approval. Reasonable notice should be given for planned time off. Emergency time off requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Approved time off does not guarantee equivalent work upon return.
7Intellectual Property
The Portal and its contents, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are the property of Drive Hatch Logistics Ltd and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written consent.
8Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Drive Hatch Logistics Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Portal or Services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amounts paid to you in the preceding 12 months.
9Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Drive Hatch Logistics Ltd, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Portal, violation of these terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
10Termination
Either party may terminate the driver relationship with reasonable notice. The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate Portal access immediately for breach of these terms, fraudulent activity, or conduct that may harm the Company's reputation or operations.
11Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Portal. Your continued use of the Portal after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
12Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
